  The TelSpan Story


J. Bruce Laughrey, R. Ph., ChairmanTelSpan, Inc. was founded in 1989 in Indianapolis, Indiana by J. Bruce Laughrey.  TelSpan was originally created to provide supporting telecommunications needs for its sister companies Medi-Span, Inc., a leading provider of computerized information services to the healthcare industry and E-Span, Inc., one of the first online employment services.  

In 1989 TelSpan created its own proprietary conferencing bridges and became the first conferencing company to provide dedicated ”800” numbers to its clients.  As the demand for this new conferencing service grew, TelSpan branched off to become the entity it is today.

 

As the industry has grown and changed, TelSpan has also grown and changed, systematically adding new services and solutions to meet the needs of its clients.  From adding reservationless audio conferencing, three Web conferencing solutions, video conferencing, online registration and podcasting, TelSpan has continued to grow at a pace that meets client demand, while maintaining the highest possible level of service quality, known as E3 Service.

 

E3 stands for  “Excellence Exceeding Expectations” and is derived from TelSpan’s long-held commitment to providing superior quality service in everything we do at TelSpan.  It is our goal to provide our clients with E3 Service each and every day.  This attitude permeates everything we do and is exhibited by all TelSpan employees in all client interactions.

E3 Service means that when our Quality Assurance Team becomes aware of a problem with your event, they will contact you about it before you contact them, sometimes when you weren’t even aware of the problem!

E3 Service means you have a dedicated Account Manager available each and every day to help you with any questions you may have.  These experts will assist you in saving your organization time and money by utilizing TelSpan’s services.

E3 Service means that if you are holding events, you will have a TelSpan Event Advisor dedicated to assist you with the planning and execution of your Virtual Event from inception to completion.
