Instructions & Troubleshooting
To install this download:
1. You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline. 2. Click the Download link above and select Save. 3. Save the Setup.exe file to your desktop and click Open when prompted. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. 5. Restart PC.
Instructions for use:
Important: You must restart OutlookTM to complete the installation process.
To schedule a Conference and include your Participant information:
1. Click the TelSpan InstantInvite Button. 2. Click the Configuration Settings Button. 3. Click on the General Information tab, update information as needed. 4. Click on the Included Text tab, update information as needed. 5. Click OK. 6. Click the TelSpan InstantInvite Button and choose the type of Conference you wish to create a meeting request for. 7. Change the subject line, location, and any addition meeting text as needed. 8. Click on the Scheduling tab and add Participants as needed. 9. Click Save and Close to confirm your appointment or close the form to cancel.
Note: Any changes you make to the meeting request will not be reflected in your configuration settings.
To remove this download:
1. Quit OutlookTM . 2. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel. 3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. 4. In the list of currently installed programs, select TelSpan InstantInvite and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program. 5. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
Troubleshooting your installation:
I do not have the authorization to install TelSpan InstantInvite - what can I do?
Solution: You must have administrator privileges on your PC to install TelSpan InstantInvite. If you do not have administrator privileges, please contact your technical support team and ask them to increase your rights, if appropriate.
I have installed TelSpan InstantInvite, but I do not see it in OutlookTM?
Solution: All Outlook instances must be closed before installation is complete.
- Close OutlookTM.
- Right click your Toolbar.
- Click Task Manager.
- Click Processes.
- If you see OUTLOOK.EXE, select the process and click End Process.
- Restart OutlookTM.
I have uninstalled TelSpan InstantInvite, but I still see it in OutlookTM?
Solution: The OutlookTM Toolbar may need to be refreshed.
- Click on View.
- Click Toolbars.
- Click Customize....
- If you see TelSpan InstantInvite, select the process and click Delete.
- Click Close.
- Restart OutlookTM.
