    With this feature, all participants enter the conference on “Music Hold”. Upon host/moderator entry, all participants are live.
  • Locked Conference
    This option enables the conference host/moderator to block additional participants from entering the audio conference.
  • Playback
    Access a previously recorded audio conference by calling a specified toll-free number and entering your unique six-digit recording reference number.
  • Polling
    Conduct a poll during your audio conference, where participants respond via their touchtone telephone keypad. An Operator then shares the results with the entire audience or with just the host/moderator.
  • Recording and Archiving
    Full and edited recording services are available, with the archiving options of CD or electronic download. Your recording account will retain 14 recordings up to 30 days.
  • Roll Call
    This feature requires participants to provide their name upon entering the call. An enhanced feature is also available where participants are announced into and out of the call. At any point the host/moderator is able to listen to the recording of names to identify attendees.
  • Conference Management Menu
    This menu allows you to access key features and perform important functions via your touchtone telephone keypad during your conference.
  • Transcription Services
    Instead of taking notes, request a typed hard copy or electronic data file of your conference.

    A TelSpan Operator can dial out to you or to your participants to bring you or them into the conference. This feature provides additional convenience for you and your participants.
  • Participant Data Collection
    As participants enter your call, TelSpan Operators can gather their names and/or company affiliations. At the conclusion of the conference, a list of this information can be sent to the host.
  • Polling Sessions
    A TelSpan Operator can manage a polling session, where questions are answered by touchtone keypad and results are communicated by the Operator to either the entire group or to just the host.
  • Question and Answer Sessions
    A TelSpan Operator introduces speakers and facilitates a structured Question and Answer session at any designated point during the conference.
  • Quality Assurance Monitoring
    As a part of our standard quality assurance process, TelSpan Operators are always monitoring lines to ensure clarity.
  • Audio and/or Web Conferencing Live Monitoring
    If requested, a TelSpan Operator can act as a silent participant for the duration of your important event to immediately answer any questions you might have or to perform any functions you desire.
  • *0 Operator Availability
    The “star 0” feature is available within your audio conference at any point during your call. When you press *0, you are able to speak privately with an Operator who will answer any questions you may have.


To Request An Operator Assisted Conference:

 

  1. At least three business days prior to your event, call 800.937.7726 and request the type of conference or service you need.
  2. Provide the TelSpan Operator with the required information for that service (Speaker names, phone numbers, polling questions, etc.). The Operator will instruct you on what information is needed.
  3. Receive documentation on your conference confirming the event details you requested and describing how the event will take place.
