Operator Assisted Conferencing Features
- Dial-Outs
A TelSpan Operator can dial out to you or to your participants to bring you or them into the conference. This feature provides additional convenience for you and your participants. - Participant Data Collection
As participants enter your call, TelSpan Operators can gather their names and/or company affiliations. At the conclusion of the conference, a list of this information can be sent to the host. - Polling Sessions
A TelSpan Operator can manage a polling session, where questions are answered by touchtone keypad and results are communicated by the Operator to either the entire group or to just the host. - Question and Answer Sessions
A TelSpan Operator introduces speakers and facilitates a structured Question and Answer session at any designated point during the conference. - Quality Assurance Monitoring
As a part of our standard quality assurance process, TelSpan Operators are always monitoring lines to ensure clarity. - Audio and/or Web Conferencing Live Monitoring
If requested, a TelSpan Operator can act as a silent participant for the duration of your important event to immediately answer any questions you might have or to perform any functions you desire. - *0 Operator Availability
The “star 0” feature is available within your audio conference at any point during your call. When you press *0, you are able to speak privately with an Operator who will answer any questions you may have.
To Request An Operator Assisted Conference:
- At least three business days prior to your event, call 800.937.7726 and request the type of conference or service you need.
- Provide the TelSpan Operator with the required information for that service (Speaker names, phone numbers, polling questions, etc.). The Operator will instruct you on what information is needed.
- Receive documentation on your conference confirming the event details you requested and describing how the event will take place.
